After running an unopposed campaign in this year’s student election, Laura Blue finally claimed victory Tuesday as president of the Graduate and Professional Student Federation.
The third-year doctoral student in the Department of Chemistry said she is excited to represent graduate students on a campus dominated by undergraduates. She said she wants to get the word out about GPSF.
As president of GPSF, Blue hopes to create unity among graduate students and solidify the relationship between student body president and GPSF.
“I’m really excited to work with the student body president and establish better communication and relationships.”
