A stray dog was reported at 213 Broad St. at 5:46 a.m. Thursday, according to Carrboro police reports.  Police found a black male dog attached to a grill by a chain. The dog had long black hair and was foaming at the mouth.  Police contacted animal control, reports state.



Someone broke into a house between 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and 11:09 a.m Thursday at 306 Pleasant Drive, according to Carrboro police reports. The person stole a radio and moved a ShopVac, reports state.



Someone broke into a house between 12:33 p.m. and 4:41 p.m. Thursday at 300 Rainbow Drive, according to Carrboro police reports.



A dog was reported running at large at 3 p.m. Thursday at 7619 Rogers Road, according to Carrboro police reports.



Someone broke into a vehicle between 1 p.m. and 7:25 p.m. Thursday at 400 Shelton St., according to Carrboro police reports.

Although the rear passenger window was broken, the doors remained locked and nothing was stolen, reports state.



Someone broke into a white Toyota Camry between 2:30 a.m. and 4:01 a.m. Wednesday at 104 Brewer Lane, according to Carrboro police reports.  The person broke the driver’s window and stole a Prada purse, black scrubs and blue Crocs, reports state.



A pit bull attacked a white wheaten terrier at 5:37 p.m. Wednesday at 117 Cheek St., according to Carrboro police reports. The terrier was not injured, reports state.
