Police log for Feb. 22

Somebody threw a rock at a window between 12:30 a.m. and 4:19 p.m. Saturday at 213 Boundary St., causing $400 of damage, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

Someone stole a laptop that was left unattended between 1:30 a.m. and 2 a.m. Friday at Artichoke Basil, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

A Chapel Hill man was arrested for misdemeanor larceny for stealing a bicycle from the homeless shelter between 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Adan Medina-Bonilla, 43, listed his address as 100 W. Rosemary St., the address of the homeless shelter. He was released on a written promise to appear in court, reports state.
