Police log for March 2, 2010

Chapel Hill police officers assisted Emergency Medical Services at 12:36 a.m. Sunday at the Pi Kappa Alpha house at 106 Fraternity Court, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Drugs and/or alcohol were involved, and minor injuries were sustained, reports state.

Somebody punched another person in the face at B-Ski’s at 147 E. Franklin St. at 2:49 a.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

Somebody stole a blue 1992 Honda Accord at 7:38 p.m. Sunday at 607 W. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
The car was worth $2,000, reports state.

Somebody broke into a silver 2001 Toyota Celica at 11:53 p.m. Sunday at 111 Pinegate Circle, according to Chapel Hill police reports.  The person stole a Jensen stereo worth $450 and a Motorola phone worth $200, reports state. Damage to the car was valued at $200, reports state.

Someone stole a license plate from a burgundy 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee between 4:30 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. Sunday at 192 Summerwalk Circle, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

Somebody stole an Apple iPod Touch worth $250 around 2:05 p.m. Saturday at Brookgreen Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

A man reported that he was being threatened with a sword in a dispute over a mailbox key at 4:39 p.m. Sunday at 303 Smith Level Road, according to Carrboro police reports.
Police did not find a sword, reports state.

Someone stole an unlocked Trek 800 Sport bicycle between 10:30 p.m. Friday and 11:29 a.m. Saturday at 116 Elm St., according to Carrboro police reports.

Someone reported that his former girlfriend tried to run him over with her blue Toyota Corolla at 2:38 a.m. Saturday at 301 Pleasant Drive, according to Carrboro police reports. The man said the two had drank and fought earlier that night. The ex-girlfriend left the scene before police arrived, reports state.
