Both the men’s and the women’s tennis teams are set to begin the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday.
The men’s team will face Nebraska at 10 a.m. in Durham at the Ambler Tennis Stadium. The winner will face Duke or Virginia Commonwealth University for the regional championship, and have the opportunity to head to the NCAA Final 16.
The women’s team earned a No. 2 overall seed, their highest national seed ever, and will host the regional round. They play Atlantic 10 champion Richmond at 1 p.m. in Chapel Hill at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
