Police log for September 1, 2010

—Someone left without paying their tab between 12:30 a.m. and 12:46 a.m. on Tuesday from Bailey’s Pub and Grill at 1722 Fordham Blvd., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone stole $104.93 worth of food and grocery items at 4:26 p.m. on Monday from Food Lion at 1720 Fordham Blvd., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
Items stolen include rice, tortillas, Dr. Pepper, steaks, pork, shrimp, Charmin toilet paper and Febreeze, reports state.

—Someone shoplifted four Blu-ray DVDs from Blockbuster Video at 1702 E. Franklin St. and then fled a traffic stop between 12:40 a.m. and 12:55 a.m. on Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
The four DVDs are worth $100 total, reports state.

—Somebody assaulted someone by jabbing keys in the victim’s hand at 8 p.m. on Thursday at 324 Scarlett Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
The keys caused a small laceration, reports state.

—Someone entered an apartment and stole more than $1,000 worth of property between 7 p.m. on Friday and 3:30 p.m. on Sunday from 2203 Drew Hill Lane, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole $415 worth of video game equipment, a gym pass and two silver coin rolls worth $600, reports state.

—Someone stole two brass plates worth $500 between midnight Aug. 4 and midnight Aug. 24 from the intersection of Clover Drive and Legion Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone found a backpack worth $50 at 10:04 a.m. Saturday on 118 Mallette St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
