First, we want to say thanks to The Daily Tar Heel for its coverage of the Campus Y’s 150th anniversary on Sept. 28.
We would like to invite you all to the 150th anniversary celebration of the Campus Y this weekend. It is an exciting time in the history of the Campus Y’s commitment to social justice. Many of the Y alumni who were at the forefront of causes such as integration, pushing for racial equality, women’s equality, environmental rights, and Vietnam War protests are returning.
This weekend is a chance to celebrate and continue conversations about social change in our world.
Students eat for free if they register Friday, October 15 at the Campus Y from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. However, you do not have to register for the non-food events, just show up. We would love to see you there.
