Police log for October 5, 2010

—Someone became trapped inside of a bathroom at the Residence Inn by Marriott at 101 Erwin Road at 11:48 p.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone stole a bicycle from an apartment between 6 p.m. Friday and 6:01 p.m. Sunday at 1100 N.C. 54 Bypass, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
The Trek 1300 mountain bicycle was worth $600, reports state.

—A possible Peeping Tom was seen between 11 p.m. Sept. 18 and 12:10 a.m. Sunday at 184 Hamilton Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone broke into a red 1996 BMW 318ic and stole a GPS between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday at 2 Berkley Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
The Garmin GPS was worth $100, and damage to the car door was worth $200, reports state.

—Someone stole a $100 washer and a $100 dryer from a rental property between 11:59 p.m. Thursday and 8:20 a.m. Saturday at 3 Powell St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone stole a license plate from a burgundy 1990 Toyota Corolla between 4:30 a.m. and 11:13 a.m. Sunday at the McDonald’s at 1748 Fordham Blvd., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
The license plate was worth $29, reports state.

—Someone broke into a house between 7:30 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday at 235 Jay St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. Reports state the person attempted to kick in the door but entered through an open window.
The person stole a television worth $700 and collectively caused $400 in damage to the door frame and the door, reports state.

—Someone stole a $2,200 bicycle at 2 a.m. Saturday at 103 Dickens Court, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
