  • Someone took $328 from Ace Hardware at 1129 Weaver Dairy Road between 12:45 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone stole multiple purses from 201 S. Estes Drive between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The purses contained a $327 paycheck, a debit card, wallets, a $75 cell phone, keys and medications, reports state.

*?Someone broke into an apartment between 5 p.m. Sept. 10 and 2:21 p.m. Tuesday at 2209 Environ Way, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole a Nokia cell phone worth $27, a Nokia cell phone battery worth $20 and a Maylong GPS unit worth $89, reports state.

*?Someone took a cell phone from 316 W. Rosemary St. between midnight and 8 a.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The stolen iPhone 4 was valued at $700, reports state.

*?Someone entered multiple vehicles and took property from them between 9:50 p.m. Monday and 7:34 a.m. Tuesday at 400 Knob Court, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person took a Coach purse worth $250, an iPod worth $150, a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses worth $100, a Liz Claiborne wallet worth $30 and multiple credit cards, reports state.

*?Someone changed price tags on items at the Food Lion at 104 NC 54 at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, according to Carrboro police reports.

*?Someone reported a dog locked in a Volvo station wagon at 1:32 p.m. Tuesday, according to Carrboro police reports.
