Police log for October 28, 2010

  • An unknown suspect picked up a set of keys and left with them between 2:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Bank of America at 851 Willow Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The keys were valued at $130, reports state.
  • A student stole another student’s Apple iPod from the locker room at Culbreth Middle School between 10:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at 225 Culbreth Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The Apple iPod, along with $5 in cash, was later recovered, reports state.
  • Someone was found sleeping in the lobby of the Bank of America Building at 137 E. Franklin St. at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone broke into a home between 1 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. Wednesday at 108 Weatherstone Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole a PlayStation 3 worth $400 and a Nintendo Wii worth $300, reports state.
