Police log for November 17, 2010

—Someone broke into a residence through a rear window between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday at 104 Little John Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person stole two electric guitars collectively worth $500, a digital camera worth $150, a monitor worth $350, and a laptop worth $1,500, reports state.

—Someone stole $300 in cash from Sugarland between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Thursday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone stole a $200 lawn display between noon Nov. 10 and 4:04 p.m. Monday at 127 Mallette St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone threw a rock at a residence’s window and broke it at 3:41 p.m. Sunday at 500 Umstead Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Damage is estimated at $400, reports state.

—Someone tried to steal a $7.50 pair of earrings from Light Years at 121 E. Franklin St. at about 1:14 p.m. Monday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
The earrings were recovered.

—Someone stole $505 worth of clothing between 3 p.m. Sunday and 10:38 a.m. Monday from Doncaster at 1800 E. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone complained about the noise from sidewalk protestors at 2:33 p.m. Monday at the RBC Centura Bank at 101 E. Rosemary St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

—Someone damaged a window and entered a residence at 10:18 a.m. Monday at 107 Covington Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
The person caused $100 in damage to the window and $100 in damage to the blinds, reports state.
