- Someone broke out two window panes in an attempt to gain entry to a residence at 1 a.m. Monday at 124 W. Stinson St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. Damage to the window panes was valued at $200, reports state.
- Someone broke out the side window of two vehicles between 7 p.m. Monday and 7:20 a.m. Tuesday at 1 Europa Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person caused $200 worth of damage to a black 2006 Nissan Xterra and caused $200 worth of damage and stole a car DVD player worth $130 from a black 2002 Mercedes C320.
- Someone stole construction equipment from a job site between 4 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday at 940 Carmichael St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The stolen John Deere Skipsteer Track Loader and scoop bucket were valued at $31,690.
- Someone left broken glass in the sand of a volleyball court between midnight Sunday and noon Monday at 512 Long Leaf Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
- Someone stole items from a residence and sold them at a local business for cash between 10 p.m. Oct. 17 and 8 a.m. Oct. 21 at 804 Shady Lawn Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports. Stolen items included a Wii system worth $250, a PlayStation 3 system worth $300, a PSP worth $300, a DS system worth $100 and seven video games worth $20, reports state.
