The person stole an iPhone valued at $300 and a CD player valued at $150, reports state. Damage to a flat screen TV was valued at $300, reports state.
  • Someone broke into a vehicle and stole items between 8 a.m. Jan. 24 and 12:03 p.m. Monday at 1746 Fordham Blvd., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person stole hand tools worth $40 and a North Carolina license plate worth $10, reports state.
  • Items were taken from an apartment bedroom between 9 p.m. Jan. 1 and 4:05 p.m. Friday at 122 Ashley Forest Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
    Items taken include a digital audio recorder worth $50 and concert tickets worth $60, reports state.
  • Someone stole unsecured bikes from a backyard between 11:35 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday at 3 Davie Circle Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The two mountain bikes were valued at $1,000 total, reports state.
  • Someone stole a pair of shoes between 4:05 p.m. and 4:08 p.m. Monday from Shoe Show Inc. at 201 S. Estes Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone attempted suicide by cutting his or her wrist with a piece of glass at 2:53 a.m. Tuesday at 5623 Chapel Hill Blvd., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
