Six individuals will be inducted into the N.C. Halls of Fame in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations at the Carolina Inn on April 10.
Joseph Mitchell, Gene Price, Chuck Stone and Ed Williams will be inducted into the journalism hall of fame. Roy Park Jr. will be inducted into the advertising hall of fame, and Clarence Whitefield will be inducted into the public relations hall of fame.
In addition to those awards, the N.C. Halls of Fame also award the Next Generation Leadership Award, intended to honor individuals who represent the next generation of leadership in their fields. This year’s recipients are Bill Goodwyn and David Oakley.
