School of Information and Library Science students, faculty and staff can submit nominations for the 2011 “Outstanding Teacher Award.”
The School will recognize two faculty members — one full-time and one adjunct. All full-time tenured, tenure track and fixed-term faculty members who have taught at least one course a year for three consecutive years are eligible for the award.
Adjunct faculty can be nominated for the special adjunct award, but winners from the previous years are not eligible for the award.
A selection committee will judge the nominations based on the criteria of teaching excellence, innovation, classroom instruction and mentoring.
