The person stole two iPods valued at $300 each and caused $120 worth of damage to a window and its screen, reports state.

  • Someone stole a cell phone between 2:32 a.m. and 2:46 a.m. Tuesday at 133 W. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The Verizon phone was valued at $50, reports state.

  • Juveniles were found trespassing at University Mall at 5:54 p.m. Wednesday at 201 S. Estes Drive, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone set up shelter on private property at 2:04 p.m. Wednesday at 1616 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
  • Someone kicked open the side door of a tool shed and stole numerous power tools between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 8:40 a.m. Wednesday at 403 Westbrook Drive, according to Carrboro police reports.

The person took three leafblowers, four weedeaters, eight weedeater attachments and two vacuum cleaners, reports state.
