  • Someone took a scooter from in front of an apartment Wednesday at 10:35 a.m. at 2139 Old Oxford Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports. The brown and white Sym Mio scooter was valued at $1,500, reports state.
  • Someone shattered the rear windshield of a vehicle at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at 120 Taylor St., according to Chapel Hill police reports.
    Damage to the green 1992 Honda was valued at $150, reports state.
  • Someone placed items in a bag and then left a store without paying for them at 1:09 p.m. Wednesday at 128 E. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The stolen UNC baseball caps were valued at $80, reports state.
  • Someone broke a front glass door and entered a business at 1:48 a.m. Wednesday at 265 S. Elliot Road, according to Chapel Hill police reports.
