  • Someone stole firewood from a convenience store at 10:03 p.m. Friday at 1501 E. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The firewood was valued at $4.99, reports state.
  • Someone solicited without a permit at 7:36 p.m. Saturday at 881 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The person went door to door selling educational books, the reports state.
  • Someone stole underwear from a laundry room at 11:08 a.m. Friday at 47 Hamilton Road, according to Chapel Hill Police reports. The 12 pairs of underwear were valued at $27 in total, reports state.
  • Someone damaged a vehicle while intoxicated between 12:28 a.m. and 12:29 a.m. Monday at 149 E. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. Damage to the vehicle was valued at $100, reports state.
  • Someone stole a cellphone from a restaurant counter between 7 p.m. Saturday and 1:35 p.m. Sunday at 1100 Weaver Dairy Rd., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The cellphone was valued at $300, reports state.
  • Someone stole an iPod from an unlocked car between 1:45 a.m. and 6 a.m. Monday at 703 N. Columbia St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The iPod was valued at $300, reports state.
  • Someone stole a scooter from a driveway between 9 p.m. Sunday and 9:45 a.m. Monday at 808 E. Franklin St., according to Chapel Hill police reports. The scooter was valued at $1,500, reports state.
