A 911 call released by the Chapel Hill Police Department on Tuesday provided additional details about possible suspects in a Sunday morning shooting at Ashley Forest Drive.

Drew Christopher Frasure, 41, of Ashley Forest Drive in Chapel Hill, was found shot and died in his apartment at around 12:20 a.m. Sunday.

The female caller said she saw three young, white males wearing hats flee Frasure’s apartment after the shooting.

A statement released by the police department on Sunday stated the shooting did not appear to be random.

The caller also told the emergency operator that Frasure said he knew the three men, but he became unconscious before he could tell her their names.

The female caller said Frasure was shot in the head and bleeding around his neck.

The caller told the operator at about 12:20 a.m. that Frasure was unconscious, but breathing, when police arrived at the scene.
