Student body president candidates Rob Jones and Christy Lambden have filed a joint complaint against candidates Will Lindsey and Hetali Lodaya for multiple campaign violations.
The complaint against Lindsey states he violated Title VI of the Student Code by campaigning or collecting signatures before the official starting time, campaigning in illegal locations and by illegal online methods, as outlined by the Board of Elections.
The complaint states Lodaya violated Title VI as well, by also campaigning or collecting signatures before the official starting time and campaigning in illegal locations.
Senior Tim Longest, who is also a columnist for The Daily Tar Heel, is representing Jones and Lambden, and is unaffiliated with any campaign.
