The town of Chapel Hill has long understood the positive impact Kidzu Children’s Museum will have on downtown with a new building and secure outdoor play space.
Our plans for an iconic building in the heart of downtown will give all children a place to play and grow. Kidzu’s new museum will be a community gathering place and contribute to our downtown’s economic vitality. Imagine annually attracting more than 90,000 visitors to a rooftop in downtown Chapel Hill — to play indoors and outdoors, hold a conference or host a party!
Our move to University Mall later this year will kick off our Launch Pad initiative, in which we will expand our exhibits to better fit the design of Wallace Plaza and continue to serve families.
We appreciate the support of the town and the entire community.
