Four fire departments responded to a house fire at 1116 Old Sawmill Road in Orange County early Monday.

White Cross Fire Department was the primary responder, and the department received assistance from Orange Grove, Carrboro and New Hope Fire Departments.

The home is located in a rural area outside of Chapel Hill. Two adults, who are now displaced from the home, reported the fire sometime before dawn.

J. Phillip Nasseri, the fire chief at White Cross Fire Department, said the structure of the home was about 75 percent damaged.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Nasseri said the conditions of the fire did not appear suspicious.
