Classes are canceled until noon Wednesday due to adverse weather, according to an update on the UNC and Alert Carolina websites posted at 5:15 a.m. this morning.

The University is operating under condition 2, meaning offices are open as regularly scheduled.

Chapel Hill Transit also released a service update at 7 a.m. The following bus routes are not operating until further notice: A, CL, DX, HS, N, NU, U and RU.

Those catching a bus should expect should expect significant delays due to road conditions and traffic, and should be extra cautious when boarding vehicles as sidewalks and roadways are slippery, according to the CHT update.
