He's Not Here hosts its wildly popular and exciting karaoke night on Sundays, said senior Harry Philpott, a bartender and nightly manager at the bar. "Everyone's got their designated song. Then everybody else just starts singing along and it's great," Philpott said.

Chapel Hill Underground has its take on Monday night karaoke challenge, combining loud rock music with its dive bar atmosphere. "You know, everybody just gets wasted and sings," said co-owner Eddie Sanchez.

Goodfellows Bar offers the best of both worlds with a trivia night Tuesdays and a karaoke on Wednesdays. "Come on down. We promise not to tell your mom," said bartender J.P. Dandy. Goodfellows also offers 65 varieties of beer.
FItzgerald's Irish Pub
Fitzgerald's Irish Pub offers a Monday night trivia challenge, complete with their infamous Irish Car Bomb — Irish stout, cream and whiskey — drinking contests. "The best place to eat, drink and compete," said co-general manager, Nick Cromer.
Top of the Hill
Top of the Hill Restaurant & Brewery hosts a Wednesday night trivia challenge in its Back Bar, which follows a strict "no electronic aid" rule, according to bartender Corey Bobeck. "It's the most fun you can have without your phone," Bobeck said.
