Students weigh in: What did you do for Spring Break?

Students are pouring back to Chapel Hill from trips and adventures during Spring Break this past week. Staff writer Alexis Bell talked to students around campus about what they did for Spring Break.

Levincent Clark, a junior public policy major from Raleigh. 

“I went to Boston to see my two best friends from my past summer internship. We went to upstate New York for a step show, and I roamed around the city.”

Mary Scott Davis, a first-year pre-pharmacy major from New Bern. 


“I went to my beach house in Cedar Point with my roommates and my friends.” 

Olive Fadale, a first-year math and sociology major from Raleigh. 


“A lot of my friends from high school were back in town, so I hung out with them. I visited my friends in Greensboro and Charlotte.”

Omar Kalokoh, a sophomore biomedical engineering major from Charlotte. 


“Over Spring Break, I went skydiving.”

Brittany Cooper, a first-year biology major from New City, N.Y. 


“I saw family, ate a lot of good food and watched a lot of basketball.”

Erik Jens, an first-year undecided major from Chapel Hill. 


“I worked for a little bit, and then I just relaxed at home.”

Troutman: “We went to Cocoa Beach (in Florida) with Cru, our campus ministry here, just to hang out with some friends.” 

Nia Cox, a sophomore chemistry major from Stafford, Va.  


“A lot of rest, a lot of eating and I helped my friend train to be a firefighter."

Jon Blum, a junior economics major from Cary. 


“I went to Savannah, Ga., for St. Patrick’s Day and went to River Street.”
