Police log for Nov. 15, 2016

• Someone fought and then resisted arrest at the intersection of Rosemary Street and Columbia Street at 2:23 a.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The subjects were involved in a fight, then fled when approached by police, reports state. 

• Someone reported damage to property on the 100 block of Ashley Forest Road at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person cut a moped tire, valued at $100, with a knife, reports state. 

• Someone committed larceny at the Walgreens at 108 E. Franklin St. at 4:51 p.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person stole a heart rate monitor, valued at $69.99, reports state. 

• Someone reported breaking and entering and larceny from a vehicle on the 100 block of Misty Woods Circle at 2:33 p.m. Saturday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person stole an iPhone charging cord and connector and a car first aid kit, valued at $50 total, reports state. 

• Someone reported breaking and entering with force on the 1700 block of Dobbins Drive at 1:34 p.m. Sunday, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

The person punched a hole in a window screen, valued at $25, and pulled it off, reports state. 

• Someone committed larceny at Vimala's at 431 W. Franklin St. at 7:33 p.m. Friday, according to Chapel Hill police reports. 

The person stole the restaurant's tip jar, which contained $150, reports state.
