Lotsa Stone Fired Pizza is moving into Jasmin Mediterranean Bistro's old location on the corner of West Franklin Street and North Columbia Street.

Nawwaf Said, owner of the former Jasmin location, said the Colmont Restaurant Group started inquiring about the space about eight months after Jasmin opened.

"They said 'I want the location and it doesn't matter how much,'" Said said.

Though the space wasn't initially on the market, Said eventually decided to sell to the group, which is the owner and operator of Lotsa Stone Fired Pizza. The restaurant chain currently has five locations open across the country.

According to their website, Lotsa Stone Fired Pizza allows customers to create their own pizzas, starting with choosing dough and toppings through an ordering line. Once the pizza is assembled, they take three minutes to bake in a stone fired oven of about 800 degrees Fahrenheit.

The Colmont Restaurant Group was not immediately available for comment.
