Manager of Top of the Hill shares playlist classic to the restaurant

PANORAMIC.NE.040709.ASR
Franklin Street in Chapel Hill erupts as thousands of Tar Heel fans celebrate UNC's 89-72 victory over Michigan State in the 2009 NCAA men's basketball championship

Chapel Hill is known for being a college town, and with a college town comes the college nightlife. In an effort to capture the sounds of the city, we're talking to classic Chapel Hill bars (like He's Not Here) and asking them to make a playlist of what they think their bar sounds like. For every senior who's about to graduate, for the alumni who miss the places that helped them graduate and for the students who support these bars nightly: cheers.

As one of the most popular restaurants on Franklin Street during the day and one of the most popular bars at night — a place for sports watching, families and an unmatched Carolina energy — Top of the Hill feels like home to many.

To accurately capture the essence of the restaurant, we began with the way it sounds.

Top of the Hill floor manager Jeffrey Wardwell shared his list of 20 songs classic to the restaurant.
