He is being held in Orange County Jail in Hillsborough without bond, and the investigation is continuing.

A shooting in Carrboro early in the morning on Nov. 2 left one dead and another injured.

Just after 2 a.m. last Friday, officers responded to a call at 810 Old Fayetteville Road and found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported to UNC Hospitals, where one died. The other was treated and released, according to Carrboro Police Capt. Chris Atack.

Police are currently involved in a homicide and shooting investigation. Atack said police believe it was not a random act or a continuing threat to the community.
