The report states the suspect took a package off the victim's doorstep. The package contained a motorcycle helmet valued at $66.
- A larceny from a motor vehicle was reported on the 300 block of New Parkside Drive at 10:05 a.m. on Thursday, according to Chapel Hill Police reports.
The report states the suspect cut the ratchet straps and removed a tool box from the bed of the vehicle, which included a circular saw, nailer, reciprocating saw, angle grinder, multi tool and two amp hour batteries. The items were valued at a total of $1,215.
