PlayMakers sends Canvas photos from "Fences," Canvas gives its reccomendations

PlayMakers Repertory Company is presenting its first-ever production of an August Wilson play, and their choice — “Fences,” the story of a disillusioned former baseball player dealing with racial discrimination and foiled dreams in 1950s Pittsburgh — is a riveting theatrical experience.

Canvas has some photos from the production and a review by Colin Warren-Hicks will appear in Monday’s Daily Tar Heel.

Check out the photos — in a gallery on the right in the multimedia section — and then go buy some tickets.
