Triangle Dance Festival for AIDs to perform at Memorial

Looking for something to do next Friday night? Consider going to see the Triangle Dance Festival for AIDs next Friday, March 25th at 7pm at Memorial Hall.

The sixth annual performing arts event includes some of the Triangle’s best dance groups, musicians, and spoken word poets – UNC’s MiscONcEption Hip Hop, EROT spoken word, UNC’s Kamikazi, and Cadence to name a few.

This year’s event will be hosted by Baba Chuck Davis of the Chuck Davis African American Dance Ensemble.

The theme is “Together, Anything is Possible,” with the ultimate goal of promoting community involvement in AIDs charities.

After the show, there will be a catered reception complete with a live jazz band and information on how you can get involved in local AIDs benefit organizations.

The event is free for students and community members. You can pick up your ticket in the Pit between 11am and 2pm March 21-25.

All proceeds go to HIV/AIDs organizations, so a donation is highly encouraged. For more information, check out their site here.
