The Carolina blue that is showing up on everyone’s finger nails has very little to do with school spirit. Luckily for us, we can thank the fashion world for conveniently making this season’s nail colors match those of our University.
Why it’s cute: I love that we are starting to expand our nail colors from just the normal reds and pinks. I have spotted so many hues of blue, green and turquiose recently. It is so much fun and adds a cute touch to any outfit!
How to wear it: The trick with these cool colors, since the color is different than what we’re used to, is to keep it bright – but not neon. Neons were very summer, and since we are moving into fall, it is best to stay with the lighter or darker shades of blue, turquise and purple instead of the neon. Feeling adventerous? Add some sparkles.
