Fellow fashion-blogger and new friend Mary Catherine Young, a freshman and a staffer for The Daily Tar Heel, posed for a cute pic before our dining hall feast. Her combination of chic “going out” clothes and winter jacket makes my job easy in assessing this. I would also like to point out that I love non-mainstream, dark green jackets (no “shade” intended).
Young's black, white and dark-green combo goes really well together, especially for winter, when everything is much more dramatic. Her jacket is from OBEY, which explains the edginess that give us all the extra ounce of confidence at night — or always looks good on Instagram, anyways.
