6 must-shop boutiques on Franklin Street

1. Fedora

At Fedora, feminine meets chic. Delicate tones and soft patterns help distinguish itself from other boutiques on Franklin Street. Pikos have been in trend for awhile now and there is not a color Fedora doesn't have! Happen to be attending a cocktail anytime soon? They sell the loveliest soirĂ©e dresses at reasonable prices so when that time comes around, Fedora will be your new best friend.

2. Light Years

You will find the cutest trinkets and accessories at this boho-esque jewelry store. Light Years sells handpicked jewelry from all around the world ranging from Paris to L.A. Its charm comes from its mom-and-pop shop aesthetic. When I spoke to the sales associate, Ashley Keaton, she said, "In Light Years, you can buy something thats $2 or you can buy something that's $150. It's such a wide range since it's not really one specific style." If you are ever in need of affordable one of a kind jewelry, this is your place.

3. Gentlemen's Corner

Gentlemen's Corner is a great place to shop if you are a guy in need of a quality suit or quality clothing in general. It sells upscale menswear that lasts for a lifetime. When I spoke to the manager Harris Burgin, he mentioned that they have a lot of new spring collections in so do not miss out!

4. Bluetique

Are you preppy? Edgy? Minimalistic? It does not matter when you shop at Bluetique because they accommodate to all styles. This boutique has great basic staples, while still incorporating edgy pieces of clothing. This boutique prides itself on affordability so it is a great place to shop if you are ever tight on money but still need a cute outfit.

5. Uniquities

A high end boutique that really puts the unique in Uniquities. You will find fashion forward clothing for a reasonable price. Think New York fashion meets North Carolina fashion and Uniquities is born.

6. Rumors

This boutique is great for all you thrifters out there. Rumors not only specializes in unique vintage clothing but also sells new unused clothing for less. If you ever need a costume, this is your place! I have bought so many pieces in the past that I have used for costume events. It prides itself in selling articles of clothing that you cannot buy anywhere else and it lives up to the expectation. Not to mention, they play great music.
