DTH at a Glance: Walkin’ in a winter wonderland

No class today, but the DTH is still going! Cozy up by the fire, drink some hot cocoa and check out the morning headlines:

QUICK HITS

IN SPORTS

  • “I just figured you know, I was kinda due for a couple threes." The men’s basketball team dominated Clemson in a 87-69 win on Tuesday. Leading the team was Cameron Johnson, who finished the game with 21 points, including six 3-pointers.
  • From the NBA G-League to the NFL playoffs, Tar Heels in the pros have had an interesting week.

AROUND CAMPUS

  • The inclement weather may have cancelled classes for a day, but the chilly season has delayed the construction on Stadium Drive indefinitely.
  • Did somebody say pita and hummus? The Ram’s Nook, a new concession stand at the Dean E. Smith Center, will begin offering healthy food options from Mediterranean Deli this Saturday.
  • “We wanted to kind of give to North Carolina people throughout the (regional) food bank, but also give to the students on campus.” The “Food For All” Campus Food Drive, the University’s contribution to Harris Teeter’s Million Meals Challenge, has raised 2,300 meals and counting.
