- Late last year, the Washington Post reported sexual assault allegations against Charlie Rose, a member of the N.C. Journalism Hall of Fame. UNC’s School of Media and Journalism will keep him in the hall — but not without publicizing what he may have done.

- UNC’s men’s tennis team lost to the Texas Longhorns 4-3 in its first outdoor match of the season. Distractions ranging from loud Longhorns to wind, cold temperatures and low UNC attendance may have contributed to the defeat.
- Coach Joe Breschi led UNC’s men’s lacrosse to his 200th win as coach this Saturday. For two decades he has stressed family, academics and lacrosse to his teams — in that order.
- UNC’s wrestling team is looking strong heading into this year’s NCAA Championship, with seven out of nine wrestlers qualifying as the team earned medals in three weight classes in the ACC Championship.

- A UNC professor and web developer worked together to create a graphic book to explain incarceration in N.C. to offenders and their families.
- Thursday was a day of firsts at Elon University, marking the beginning of the month and the start date of the school’s first female president.
