this is so sad alexa play boy george

I listen to a lot of different music, but when I’m stressed, I always go through the same artists.

It’s inadvertent. Usually, I don’t even realize that I’m listening to my stress music until about five songs in. It’ll start with *NSYNC, go over to Whitney Houston, move into The Judds. But DEFCON 1? Boy George and Culture Club. Every time. I have *cried* to Karma Chameleon while studying for finals in the Student Union at least five times in my three years at UNC. I’m sure I’ll do it again.

I listened to Boy George on the way to class today. I need a nap.

Things to know

Remember how stressful getting ready for your first year of college was? A lot of international students recall that feeling tenfold, with a major lack of support from the University before they came to school.

An individual claiming to be David Duke sent an email to multiple UNC faculty after the removal of Silent Sam, stating that he and other "pro-western groups" will be protesting at UNC on an upcoming weekend. Read more here.

After playing every regular season home game at Duke's Jack Katz Stadium, the UNC field hockey team will finally play its first game in its brand new stadium on Saturday.

Things you don't want to do

Stand in line at the DMV. Turns out a lot of people in Chapel Hill and Carrboro are doing just that, and understandably aren’t happy about it. Read more about why it’s happening and what some residents are having to do here

Register your next party. Or, maybe you do. There were 23 parties registered last semester under the newly-launched "Party, Police Free" program, and UNC and the Town of Chapel Hill are looking to expand the program.

Things to do

A sturgeon moon party? No, I’m not entirely sure what it is either, but it sounds like fun. Check out our Q&A with the band playing the party here

"I think life is about growing into yourself and getting to like that person."
