'You're not gonna out-muscle anybody'

In three seasons with North Carolina from 2011-13, offensive lineman Russell Bodine consistently graded out as one of UNC's better interior blockers and even earned All-ACC honorable mention honors during his junior year.

Bodine was drafted in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals, whom he has played every offensive snap for over the past two seasons.

Sports Editor Jeremy Vernon spoke with the offensive lineman about his transition to the NFL and much more. You can read the Q&A here

The $25 million question

Former UNC men's basketball player Harrison Barnes has already had an eventful summer, but things are really about to get crazy come midnight Friday, when the small forward will become a restricted free agent.

Barnes has been a steady contributor as a third option for the Golden State Warriors over the past few seasons, but struggled mightily in the 2016 playoffs, especially in the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

But despite a rough end to the season, Barnes could still be in line for a maximum contact offer from a number of teams. The only question: Is he worth it?
