Review: Hey, you should play Red Carpet Rampage

The Oscars are quickly approaching and with them comes the annual question for Leonardo Dicaprio fans around the world: is this the year? Will our beloved Leo finally get his hands on that golden man statue?

Well, quit waiting around and take that cinematic angel's fate into your own hands! A new video game from British animation group The Line puts you in command on Leo's chase to grab that coveted award.

Leo's Red Carpet Rampage is a high-speed, high-intensity game where the player, as Leonardo Dicaprio, runs along a red carpet in pursuit of a glowing Oscar. Be careful, though, as you have to navigate paparazzi, your fellow Best Actor nominees (Eddie Redmayne is especially swift) and Lady Gaga.

The game also includes minigames aside from the main race that ask Leo to "act harder," write an acceptance speech, reference his past movies and even bring up the diversity issue that the Academy (and really Hollywood as a whole) has been facing recently.

Although extremely hilarious and fun to play, Red Carpet Rampage is not for the faint of heart. This game is hard. It requires speed, skill and the occasional finger stretch to avoid cramping.

But, Leo believes in you! Go out there and get him that Oscar!
