Review: Tinder makes sparks

PSA: Mom, Dad, stop reading now. Seriously. Just believe that I don't know what Tinder is.

ANYWAYS!

Tinder: Your one-stop-app for randomly judging — and being judged by — strangers based upon appearance, potentially meeting your soulmate, going on dates and discovering that there is no end to the amount of cheesy pickup lines in this world.

Some examples that have actually been used on me:

"Your hand looks heavy, let me hold it for you."

"There's a big sale in my bedroom. Clothes 100 percent off!"

"There's something wrong with my cellphone...your number isn't in it."

There are others of a more *straightforward* nature, of course. You can either take these as funny or offensive (but the former is always more fun)!

Most people have a negative perception of Tinder, thinking that it's just for hooking up promiscuously, but there are definitely different uses for the app.

Personally, my experience with Tinder has been overall very positive! I've talked to some pretty cool people, gone on a few dates and made quite a few friends.

Would I recommend downloading the app? Heck yeah. It's not only a way to meet people, but also a HUGE confidence boost when someone swipes right on you and another way to procrastinate.

P.S. it's hella gratifying to swipe left and reject Dook students!!
