The Tea Party-endorsed Republican candidate for Senate in Delaware lost to Christopher Coons, The New York Times is reporting.
The candidate was reported to be the mostly widely covered candidate in this year’s elections by the Pew Research Center earlier today.
She will be best remembered for quotes such as:
“It is not enough to be abstinent with other people, you also have to be be abstinent alone. The Bible says that lust in your heart is committing adultery, so you can’t masturbate without lust.”
“I dabbled into witchcraft. I never joined a coven.” “One of my first dates with a witch was on a satanic altar.”
“I’m not a witch. I am you.”
“You’re telling me that’s in the First Amendment?” O’Donnell asked as her opponent discussed freedom of religion.
