Tonight is Tuesday. That means trivia nights.
Per my usual, I recommend Linda’s because it’s small, quieter, and the perfect place to start an evening. Trivia starts at 8 p.m. downstairs in the bar, but I would get there a little bit earlier if you want to have a seat. Grab a basket of cheese fries, with bacon, and a brew of your choice. (I love bacon.)
Linda’s usually finished up around 10, or you might want to leave early if you're tired of it. For the next hour, I would head over to He’s Not Here and grab the blue cup specials go all night. You’ll pay a $2 cover, but you’ll also be able get blue cups, which are 33 ounces, for much cheaper than usual.
There’s also another trivia night at 11 o’clock at Goodfellas if you aren’t feeling the scene at He’s Not Here. The questions aren’t as good as Linda’s, but it’s worth the stop by.
It’s likely that the bars will be packed because most of the fraternity parties have been cancelled due to an Interfraternity Council mandate. But it’s also the first week of class, and no one studies the first week of class. Good luck partying.
