Ideas for new banners at Sup Dogs

Everyone looks forward to the week of the UNC-Duke basketball game, a.k.a rivalry week. One of the best parts? The banner outside Sup Dogs perfectly illustrating UNC’s hatred for Duke. The banner originally started out as “Honk if you hate Dook” with Coach K’s face as one of the O’s in the word “Dook.”

This banner just got a new face for the most recent game. The new banner was a nod towards Justin Bieber’s "Love Yourself" lyrics — “My Mama don’t like Dook and she likes everyone." It features Coach K’s face as one of the O’s in the word “Dook.”

These banners have become an iconic part of rivalry week, but we were thinking, “why not have banners for occasions other than the UNC vs Duke game?” Here is a compilation of ideas for new banners for other occasions:
