Board of Elections Chairperson Grayson Berger said the referendum petition will not get a further extension.

Candidates for major offices who had 24-hour extensions did reach their required signature counts.

Student body president candidate Bradley Opere turned in about 200 more signatures than he needed by the end of the extra time.

Elizabeth Brewer and Komal Gandhi, who are running for senior class officers, Residence Hall Association president candidate Travis Broadhurst and Katherine Ross, Carolina Athletic Association president candidate, all acquired the necessary signatures and are officially in the race.
