Updated concept plan unveiled at Rosemary Imagined

Floor-to-ceiling windows in the fifth-floor Sky Lounge of the Greenbridge development gave Rosemary Imagined meeting attendees a bird's eye view of their beloved downtown –– and from the windows, community members could point a finger right where they hope to see change. 


Carrboro Board of Aldermen considers more affordable housing

The Carrboro Board of Aldermen took a step towards putting more affordable housing in the area during their meeting Tuesday.The Community Home Trust, a nonprofit organization for affordable housing, presented their charter to the Aldermen looking for a financial agreement from the town.


Carrboro residents rally behind proposed county library

They would like it to have open spaces with comfy couches. A cafe offering local coffee would be nice. Someone even asked for cats to be lounging in the windows. But books are definitely a must at the proposed Orange County Public Library Southern Branch location.


Bikers who commute from Chapel Hill to Durham and other parts of the Triangle are in luck. The Chapel Hill Town Council voted to endorse plans for a construction project along the Old Durham Chapel Hill corridor.
