In this course, we will cover sustainable strategies that participants can implement at home to reduce their carbon footprint. We will focus on topics including reducing energy, preventing waste, and reconsidering consumption habits. This course will center on the highest impact choices individuals can make to reduce their carbon footprint. Participants will also learn about energy-reducing, cost-saving features at the North Carolina Botanical Garden with a virtual “behind the scenes” tour of some of the Garden’s sustainable features.
