An estimated 17,000 people gathered in Raleigh on Saturday to participate in the Women's March. This is one of many satellite marches taking place across the globe. The main protest took place in Washington, and other marches took place in major cities across the United States such as New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Houston. Other marches occurred internationally in places like the U.K., Mexico, Australia and Canada. A total of 673 official marches took place across the world with an estimated 2,587,190 people participating.
