William Thorpe, founder and director of UNC Walk for Health, spoke at the Peace and Justice Plaza in a Union Soldier outift Thursday, April 4, 2019. "We are gathered here today," Thorpe says, "on the day of Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination, to do a musical tribute to the causes he fought for." Thorpe led the UNC Gospel Choir in song and a march across McCorkle Place to the Old Well.
