Bob (Doc) Charlton, the self proclaimed "Piano Man," performs a brief set at Katy at the Bayou. The bar, formerly known as the Blue Bayou Club, previously catered to bands that played mainly blues and jazz but now the new manager, Katy Stewart, plans to expand the musical genres that perform there. The bar holds an open mic night on Tuesdays every two weeks hosted by Bill West. Doc Bob's set included covers of Ray Charles' "Georgia on My Mind" and the Commodores' "Easy."
